21 May 2014

Boris and Dave have been enjoying each other’s company on the campaign trail in Newark today. Just look how cosy they are at the station:

But is that Boris sneaking a longing glance at the red box that the Prime Minister carries with him as a trapping of office?

Neither seem particularly excited about the sandwiches on offer in Costa, though. Perhaps like Ed Miliband, they’d rather eat a bacon butty

The Bullingdon Boys go slumming in the provinces. How very ‘down’ with the people that is!

yes good fun. But I think they can look away from each other’s eyes without it meaning they’re not getting on very well?

Boris has gained a bit of weight and lost a bit of hair. No longer the young shining star the media love to push. Now he just looks seedy. As for Dave, he looks as though he is on one of those really difficult dates – the ones where you ask yourself why on earth you agreed to take her out.

Costa? I thought ol’ shiny face lived on Greggs.

Dave and Boris have always been buddies……….Bosom ha……….:)

Yet more evidence that Boris has made up his mind to take a Third term as Mayor of London, and has told Cameron about it.

We’ll hear more of Newark anon, but isn’t it striking that Dave and Boris have turned up in order to stave off a party that lost its deposit last time out with under 2000 votes?

If they are convinced they are going to win comfortably, why send their biggest hitters?

    How quaint.

When the road leads to nowhere why not take the train, host a tea party and serve biscuits with a UKIP logo on to win back the voters.
